Last month, the Boundary Commission for England unveiled its initial plans following a review of the boundaries.

There are 36 two-day hearings taking place across the country where the public can give their views; the closest one to North Kesteven is being held at The Elliott Room, at Bishop Grosseteste University, in Lincoln, on November 3 and November 4.

Anyone wanting to speak at the events need to register in advance by visiting the website www.bce2018.org.uk, entering their postcode and selecting the event they want to attend.

Speakers can comment on anything, including the suitability of the constituency’s name.

Submissions on the proposals can also be made online at www.bce2018.org.uk
