Defence solicitor David Grant said Keightley had a couple of drinks while playing pool with friends and a glass of wine with a meal.

Keightley’s ban will be cut by 17 weeks if he successfully completes the drink driving rehabilitation course.

He must also pay a £150 fine, £20 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
