Head to Crowders in Horncastle to celebrate new name and enjoy free family fun day

As Crowders Garden Centre in Horncastle is set to unveil its new name - a free family fun day has been organised as a thank you to the community for their support.
Centre staff Simon Nagle and Trevor Blake alongside Garden Centre Manager Ken Dawson. All three pictured nominated the names that had been shortlisted for voting until February 28 inclusive. As voted for by the local community, Crowders will trade under a new name which will be officially unveiled on Wednesday, March 16.

The establishment is set to become a Wyevale Garden Centre.

The Wyevale Garden Centre team is getting ready to welcome visitors this weekend to enjoy a magical line up of free activities and family fun on its first weekend trading under a new title.

The free activites will take place on Saturday from 9.30am-4.30pm and Sunday, 10am-4pm.

These festivities include: A petting zoo, face painting, a grow the tallest sunflower contest, make some noise with the Lincolnshire Police Team and more.

Ken Dawson, Wyevale Garden Centre Manager, said: “We are very excited to welcome the community in with our new centre name.

“The team is all set for a weekend full of free activities and fun for all ages to celebrate – come and join us!”
