Headteacher from Haxey elected into association

Jonathan Hall, headteacher of Hill House Junior School at Auckley, has been elected to membership of the Incorporated Association of Prep Schools.

Haxeys Jonathan Hall, Head of Hill House Junior School, has been elected to membership of the Incorporated Association of Prep Schools (IAPS).

IAPS is the largest independent schools organisation. It was established in 1892 and represents the interests of 600 prep and junior school worldwide, with over 150,000 pupils.

Mr Hall, who lives in Haxey, joined Hill House last summer from Pownall Hall School in Wilmslow, where pupils included the children of many of the current Manchester United and City players.

He is delighted by his election, and said: “IAPS is the top organisation representing independent junior schools, and it is important that Hill House, as one of the most successful and vibrant junior schools in the north of England, should be at the heart of IAPS.

“Membership is a kite mark of success for Hill House and provides excellent staff training, and a number of superb opportunities for the children to take part in regional and national competitions.”
