Heavy rain warning for Midlands
RESIDENTS are warned to prepare as the Met Office had issues a weather warning for heavy rain tonight and tomorrow for most of the Midlands.
Persistent rain, heavy in places, is expected overnight into tomorrow, with further rain expected on Friday and over the weekend.
Officials say that this may lead to localised surface water flooding and the need to issue flood alerts and possibly warnings on faster responding rivers in some locations across the Midlands.
