Hedge fire speads to property in Skegness
Discarded smoking materials are thought to be to blame for a fire in a conifer hedge which spread to the outside of a Skegness property last night (Monday).
The incident was reported at 8.22pm and Skegness firefighters attended Nelson Close in the town.
The blaze damaged the hedge and PVC guttering. Crews used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.
