Helping Bluebell Wood

Members of Worksop Priory Lodge were at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice last week to present a cheque.

The Worshipful Master of Worksop Priory Lodge Clive Palmer, along with charity steward Neil Airey, visited the North Anston Hospice to present a cheque for £500 to Worksop fund raising coordinator Rachael Dawes.

Clive said a tradition had formed inside the Lodge of annual support to this ‘most worthy charity’ as well as a sense of satisfaction for their membership that Freemasonry helps it to continue.

Bluebell Wood offers care and support to children with a shortened life expectancy, in their own homes and at its hospice and costs £3 million each year to run.
