Helping make a cleaner Horncastle
An industrious Year 10 class from LWF, St Lawrence School, have been working hard, picking up litter from a variety of locations around Horncastle for the Volunteering section of their Duke of Edinburgh award programme.
The pupils have cleaned parks, paths and alongside rivers.
It has given them the opportunity to enjoy the fresh air as well as looking after their environment, while also learning a wide variety of road safety and social skills.
The Duke of Edinburgh award scheme is proving very rewarding for the pupils, who are now preparing for their forthcoming overnight expeditions.
