The Worksop Work Club event is organised by Notts County Council and meets every Thursday at Worksop Library between 10am-12pm.

The club is free of charge to attend and gives people the chance to meet others looking for work, build new contacts, share job hunting experiences and get advice on job searches, job applications, interview techniques, CVs, volunteering and training opportunities.

In addition to the regular sessions, special events like a CV workshop take place from time to time.

Worksop Work Club is one of six set up across Notts by the council.

They are led by volunteers, who are often job seekers themselves or people with experience in working with the unemployed. The council is keen to hearfrom more people interested in volunteering. Call Denise on 07775 588 756 or email [email protected]
