Heroin user left blood at burglary scene

A heroin user burgled the office of a support agency which was helping him find work.

Adrian Millington, 33, of Park Street, Worksop, admitted burglary with intent to steal.

Worksop magistrates heard he had been seeing an employment advisor at Framework at Dukeries Business Park. He had seen a cash tin inside a cupboard at the Retford Road offices and gone back to steal it on 25th January, gaining entry by smashing a window with a concrete block. Blood at the scene led to his arrest.

Magistrates ordered a nine month community order with supervision, six months drug rehabilitation, £45 costs and £60 victim surcharge.
