Horncastle Hotshots Netball Club was formed when a group of friends got together in November, 2015.

Since then, the club has gone from strength to strength and runs two successful teams.

Now, the club has launched an appeal for sponsors to come forward to help continue their development.

A club spokesman said: “The aim of the club is to provide an opportunity for women of all ages and abilities to play and improve their netball skills, while making new friends and having fun.

“However, we are always seeking new players.

“As mentioned before, we would welcome all ages and abilities – most of our members haven’t played netball since they were at school.

“And – apart from the enjoyment and social aspect – it’s a great way to keep fit.”

The club is already backed by JORE Training, which provides first aid equipment.

However, the Hotshots hope to attract more backers to help with general running costs and an official team kit.

Training is held at St Hugh’s School in Woodhall Spa on a Sundays from 5.30-7pm. The cost is £3 a session.
