Horncastle volunteers on the road
Volunteers from the Horncastle Voluntary Car Service met in the Community Centre for their annual get together.
The drivers regularly transport patients to surgery and hospital appointments and receive no payments other than a mileage allowance.
The volunteers who work alone rarely meet each other so the event is an opportunity to compare notes and discuss the day to day challenges of being unpaid taxi drivers.
