Horse dies after A16 collision near Louth
A horse has died following a serious collision on the A16 near Louth's Fairfield Industrial Estate yesterday evening (Thursday January 21).
The collision involved one vehicle and two loose horses on the road at around 5.55pm yesterday.
No people were injured in the incident, and the other horse escaped without injury.

Hide AdThe road was closed in both directions for around 90 minutes while police dealt with the incident.
No further action will be taken by police, and the matter will be dealt with by the relevant insurance companies.
