Horse rescued from ditch in Friskney
Firefighters rescued a horse from a ditch after the trailer it was travelling in was involved in an accident in Friskney.
Animal rescue teams from Wainfleet and Louth were called to Dickon Hill Road at 6.27pm last night.
The 15-year-old horse was free from the trailer on arrival and it was rescued from the ditch using lines and manpower.
