Rampton Hospital scored highly in a recent security audit by the prison service.

The high secure hospital near Retford, which is managed by Notts Healthcare, increased its rating from the previous year.

Head of security Lee Brammer said hospital staff were delighted with the result.

“By working to reduce risk, we can provide a safe, therapeutic environment which enhances the effective care, treatment and recovery of our patients.”
