Hot ashes cause garden waste skip fire
A skip fire this morning (Saturday) was caused by '˜hot ashes being placed in the skip', according to Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue.
The services Twitter account confirmed that a crew from Horncastle attended the fire on Spilsby Road at about 12.16pm.
They said a hose reel jet was used to extinguish a quantity of garden rubbish.
