Hotel’s quality of food is a winner

GAINSBOROUGH’S Hickman Hill Hotel has been highly commended for the quality of food served at both its hotel and restaurant.

Owners Robert and Michelle Marsh picked up the pair of gongs at the Food and Drink Awards 2012 in Lincoln.

Mary Powell from Select Lincolnshire and Taste of Lincolnshire presented the awards at the lavish ceremony. The couple have spent six and a half years transforming the former grammar school into a luxury hotel and dining experience.

Robert Marsh, who is also head chef said: “To be given one award is superb, but two reinforces and underpins all the effort that we have lovingly put into the hotel.”
