House fire in Clowne

FIRE crews were called out to a house blaze in Clowne where a faulty log-burner stove had set the building alight.

Emergency services arrived at the house on Creswell Road at 10.44pm on Tuesday 17th January.

Crews from Stavely and Clowne attended the scene, isolated water and electricity supplies, exposed woodwork and damped down the house until they they left at 2.12am this morning.
