Housing plans for Holton le Clay has been rejected

A plan to switch part of Holton le Clay's Peacefield Business Park into housing has been rejected by East Lindsey District Council.

At its August meeting yesterday (Thursday), planning committee members refused an outline application by Key Rent Ltd to build 20 homes and an office building on a vacant plot at the site which is off off Louth Road.

Speaking in favour of the project, architect Jonathan Hendry said attempts to market the site for business occupation had been to no avail over at least the past 10 years - hence the proposal for change of use to residential.
