Improvement works in Bridge Street
Motorists faced slight delays for much of today (Friday) in Horncastle as Anglian Water carried out improvements in Bridge Street.
Temporary traffic lights were put up as one side of the road was closed from early morning to allow a new connector to be fitted to the main.
Work continued this afternoon as water had to be ‘flushed through’ the new connection.
According to a spokesman for the company, the work was expected to be completed today.
