Improving revision techniques in Crowle

Learning all about the fine art of revision were students at Crowle’s North Axholme Academy when they took part in a Study Skills Day.

Study skills day at North Axholme Academy in Crowle.

The event involved all Year 11 students and some from Year 10 who learnt skills on improving memory and revision techniques.

An academy spokesman said: “Students described the presenter as nuts and crazy and the buzz she created motivated the students.

“The students still remember about the mind map she created to remember the life of Mohammed Ali and the shopping list that consisted of ten things. The afternoon session was about motivation and students were guided to set long-term and short-term goals.
