In Bloom judge Jeff Bates was ‘impressed’ by all the hard work and effort that had gone into this year’s route.
Mr Bates said: “I have seen a big improvement on this year’s route compared to last year.
“They have really put together a good, well organised route which started and finished on a high.
“I could see a lot of community effort had been put into the preparations this year and that is what In Bloom is all about.”
Louth In Bloom chair, Jill Makinson-Sanders, expressed her thanks to all those who helped out this year.
She said: “I would just like to say thank you to everyone who helped this year. There has been so many dedicated people being a part of the preparations.
“Plus we must thank East Lindsey District Council for their support, they really pulled out all the stops this year, which we are delighted about.
“We also got some great tips from Jeff on how to get bigger and better for next year.
“So if there are any groups out there that want to work alongside us for next year, we would love to hear from them.”
Mayor of Louth, Councillor Eileen Ballard, also applauded the In Bloom volunteers.
“I would just like to say a big thank you to the team,” Coun Ballard said.
“They really have some amazing dedicated members who have worked so hard on this year’s route.
“They should be very proud of the end result.”
