Schoolchildren made a special journey from Gainsborough Old Hall around the town centre to mark the countdown of the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower.

Illuminate is a special commemorative event that recognises the town’s important connections to the story of the Mayflower Pilgrims, some of whom came from the area before they set sail on the Mayflower in 1620.
