The community in Swineshead came together over the weekend to celebrate the King John's Parade.

Starting in the Market Place on Saturday, the parade marched to the village football field via King John’s Road before starting a weekend of medieval mischief.

Visitors were able to try their hand at things like archery and falconry as well as take part in a treasure trail and medieval pottery.

The Swineshead Silver Band and Knights of Skirbeck were also on hand to entertain guests.
