Internet safety talk for parents in the Skegness area

Dan Hawbrook, from the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Board, delivers safety talks in schools to over 10000 children a year.

The Skegness Neighbourhood Policing Team have collaborated with Mr Hawbrook to host an ‘Is Your Child Safe Online?’ talk at Skegness Academy on Wednesday June 3.

The talk will start at 6pm in the auditorium and will cover topics including cyber bullying, online grooming, setting parental controls, and the good and bad about online gaming, Facebook, Snapchat etc.

The talk will be followed by an open forum, giving parents the opportunity to ask questions.

Open only to parents in Skegness, Ingoldmells and Wainfleet areas, numbers are limited and entry is by pre-booking only.
