ongo is celebrating after receiving the news that it has been ranked 39 in the Top 100 best not-for-profit companies to work for, nationally.

It is the fourth year that ongo, a housing partnership which includes North Lincolnshire Homes and Crosby Employment, has been put forward for the award and staff are delighted that for a second year running the company has made it to the Top 50 list in the not-for-profit sector.

The ranking is an improvement on the company’s previous ranking of 45 in 2013.

Not only has ongo consistently improved its ranking within the prestigious poll, it has been upgraded from a ‘One Star’ organisation to a ‘Two Star’ organisation, which is considered outstanding.

The annual awards scheme is run by Best Companies Ltd, in conjunction with The Sunday Times, and asks staff to provide feedback across a number of factors for their company.

The 300 employees of ongo were asked to give their feedback on the company to Best Companies Ltd, focusing particularly on eight factors, namely: leadership, my company, personal growth, my manager, my team, giving something back, fair deal, and wellbeing.

The survey results were then used by The Sunday Times to discover the Top 100 companies to work for in the UK.
