Isle fire crews’ response times checked

Crews at Crowle and Epworth responded to random test calls so that preparation and response to incidents could be recorded.

A Humberside fire service spokesman said: “Everything is noted during these checks from how long it takes people to assemble, to when the doors open and the engine enters the yard.

“The tests were carried out throughout the day and all went according to plan.”
