The “Dine with Vulcan XH558” took place in hangar 3 at Robin Hood Airport in aid of the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance. Around 160 guests enjoyed a three course dinner, a tour of the aircraft and the reminisces of speaker Martin Withers DFC, the pilot who flew to the Falkland Islands in the Vulcan to bomb Port Stanley Airport, during the Falklands war. The total amount raised is not yet known but will be over £3,000.
