The team compile the electoral register every year so they know who is eligible to register to vote. To do this, they need to know who lives at what address.

Household enquiry forms have been sent to all homes in North Lincolnshire with the details they currently have for each household.

Councillor Richard Hannigan, cabinet member for Policy and Finance said: “Time is of the essence to complete your household enquiry form and it is easy to confirm your details to us by phone or on the website.

“We all know how important it is to vote, so to make sure you can vote when the time comes, you need to be on the electoral register.

“Being on the electoral register could help to improve your credit rating but failure to register could result in a fine.”

If the details on the form are correct and there are no changes, this can be confirmed at www.elecreg.co.uk/northlincs.
