Isle women’s foodie fundraiser
Special reindeer food made by two Epworth mums raised much-needed cash for charity.
Maxine Strong and Sharon Thurman sold the food at community events in the pre-Christmas period, in memory of Maxine’s late son, Alexander.
Their proceeds were presented to Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice this week. In May this year, Maxine and daughter Olivia plan to run the Cancer Colour Dash, again in memory of Lex and for Bluebell Wood.
