Jackson is the star attraction

Colin Jackson, the former world champion hurdler and Olympic star, visited the Barnes Wallis Academy last week to deliver an inspirational talk and coaching '˜masterclass' to students. The Olympic silver medallist - and former world record holder at 60m and 110m hurdles - also launched '˜Sports Hall', an indoor competition which feature several local primary schools which were put through their paces in front of one of Britain's best known athletes who is now a successful TV pundit. Students and staff were delighted to welcome Jackson who is the latest in a line of of high-pofile sporting stars to visit the Academy.
