Job’s a good ‘un for apprentices

THREE young people have been accepted on apprentice positions at West Lindsey District Council.

Danny Henderson, Charlotte Bullivent and Matthew Huteson spend a year gaining new skills including an NVQ in business administration.

Each apprentice will spend four months in customer services, the housing team and revenues and benefits.

“We are really pleased to have such talented young people and hope to take on more in the future,” said WLDC chief executive Manjeet Gill.

“We would encourage all businesses to take on a young person and develop them to their full potential. They are our future.”

Young mum Charlotte Bullivent, 23, of Ropery Road, said she hoped the position would give her a good grounding for future jobs.

“I’m finding the work really interesting. No two days the same in customer services.”
