Kick-off is upon schools

Schools are preparing for next week’s kick-off in district football competitions.

Seventeen schools are offering league football for their girls as well as their boys.

The line-up for the 22nd year of the girls league is: Division 1, Leverton, Haggonfields, Sturton-le-Steeple, Blyth, East Markham.

Division 2, Carlton Ramsden, Harworth, Everton, Gamston.

Division 3, Ordsall, Serlby Park, Sir Edmund Hillary, St John’s.

Division 4, Ryton Park, Carr Hill, Redlands, Prospect Hill

Champion of Champions Ryton Park are expected to be strong, but can rely on tough opposition.
