Labour’s Paddy Tipping elected as Police and Crime Commissioner for Notts

PADDY Tipping has been announced as the new Police and Crime Commissioner for Notts following the elections yesterday (Thursday 15th November).

The Labour candidate and former Sherwood MP won 42 per cent of the votes in Bassetlaw, winning 5,082 votes against 2,189 for Conservative opponent Tony Roberts.

Independent candidates Malcolm Spencer and Raj Chandran gained 2,415 and 2,320 votes respectively.
