Tin Hat Productions is inviting members of the public to go behind the scenes of its latest film, the Bomber Command-inspired Our Shining Sword, on Sunday, from 10am-4pm.

The small production company is currently filming sequences inside the Lancaster bomber at the centre of its story and for it has built a (slightly-larger-than-life) replica of the famous aircraft.

The three-month build was largely the work of father-and-son team Andy and Callum Burn.

Sunday’s event will be a chance to go on the set of the Lancaster bomber, but also buy props and costumes.

Proceeds from the event will go towards financing the rest of the shoot.

Admission is priced at an optional £3.
