Learn to read the Wolds' earthworks in Nettleton

The Wolds area is full of interesting fields containing lumps, bumps and marks which allude to past landscapes.

Now a free day school is being held to learn how to read these earthworks.

This one off event will show how to identify and record earthworks; it will also include a site visit to see what particular features to be aware of.

The event takes place at Nettleton, near Caistor, on Saturday, February 6, from 10am to 3.30pm.

Places on the day school are limited.
