Life-saving equipment donated to Wilsford community

Residents in Wilsford have received a life-changing piece of equipment courtesy of Mid UK Recycling, a Lincolnshire based recycling firm.

Mid UK Recycling have a site in Ancaster, near Wilsford, and donated a defibrillator as part of its commitment to supporting the community.

Managing director Chris Mountain presented the unit and cabinet to Simon Davey, chairman of Wilsford Parish Council, with councillors Jack Clements and Mick Harrison also present.

The defibrillator will be stored on the wall outside Wilsford Post Office.

Coun Simon Davey said: “Having a piece of life-saving equipment like this within our parish is a huge relief.”

Chris Mountain said: “We are glad it will bring reassurance to local residents.”
