Lincolnshire Day celebrations at Tattershall Thorpe

This year it was a sausage and mash super, followed by plum bread and Poacher cheese, all produced or grown in Lincolnshire.

The evening’s speaker was Louth storyteller Keith Butters, whose family has been spinning yarns for generations.

Residents attending the celebrations were also able to view the map of archaeological finds within the parish boundary, put together by Margaret Pocklington.

The annual Blue Bell Trophy, for the best kept garden, was also awarded, with this year’s winner being Gordon Lane.
