If you registered for the Lincolnshire Energy Switch Scheme then you need to look out for your offer e-mail or letter in the post which will help you switch and save hundreds of pounds on their fuel bills through the scheme.

E-on and Scottish Power won the latest auction for the scheme’s most recent round that concluded on 2nd February.

Now offer emails and letters will be arriving with those who signed up to the scheme on this occasion to consider if they offer a better deal than their current energy provider.

The final date for accepting offers is Monday 16th March.

So far the scheme has helped more than 1,600 residents in Lincs switch suppliers, collectively saving a huge £300,000 per year on their fuel bills.

Nearly all of the people who registered this time in Lincs could save on their energy bills if they choose to switch.

For the 786 Lincolnshire residents who signed up for the latest round the average saving would be £219.15.

Lincs councils partnered with iChoosr, the UK’s leading expert in collective energy switching and together were able to deliver the market leading tariffs.

They combined with a number of other similar initiatives around the UK, to create a collective of 30,000 households and was driven by over 100 local authorities.

The scheme is organised by Boston Borough Council, City of Lincoln Council, East Lindsey District Council, Lincolnshire County Council, South Kesteven District Council, North Kesteven District Council and West Lindsey District Council.
