Lions roar after donation from Pescod Square

A roar-some donation of £1,100 has been made to Boston Lions following the success of Pescod Square's Christmas events.

Throughout Christmas, Pescod Square also hosted a Santa’s Grotto, managed by the Boston Lions, who asked for donations in return for entry.

Now, Michelle McCoy, from Pescod Square, has presented a cheque for £1,100 – the total raised from the grotto – to Jean Darrigan of Boston Lions.

Jean commented: “We are very grateful for the continued support of Pescod Square. This money will be going to good causes in the local community.

“I would also like to thank Calders & Grandidge for their continued support in providing the fantastic Christmas Grotto to Pescod Square.”
