To mark National Storytelling Week and in association with Usborne books, children at Skendleby Playgroup were sponsored by family and friends to listen to stories being read to them.

The fundraiser brought in £45 through sponsorship, but donations from local businesses enabled the playgroup to buy books worth £100 in all.
