Local businesses sought to support Zero Degrees Festival

The Zero Degrees Festival organisers are working hard to create a great event this summer. The festival, which runs from Friday May 17 to Sunday July 3, will see live music at the Kings Head Hotel and Spout Yard Park, dancing at St James' Church and the Cornmarket, and comedy at The Brown Cow and King's Head Hotel - with more events in the pipeline.

Sharon Davies, proprietor of the King’s Head hotel said: “I’m very happy to support the festival. The organisers are all volunteers, and they work hard to deliver some great events for local people to enjoy. The festival helps put the town on the map and increases footfall, and it deserves the support of 
local businesses.”

David Sandwith of Eve and Ranshaw department store added: ‘What the team running the Zero Degrees festival are doing for Louth is absolutely splendid, and they deserve the support of the business community.”

Acting Chair, Nicki Jarvis, said the festival depends completely on local sponsorship and support, and more help is still required.
