Local sides going up and down

Bassetlaw Championship title winners Ordsall Bridon finished off their season in style, with a 145-run victory over Thoresby Colliery

Fittingly, their batting line-up starred after a stellar campaign, as overseas professional Tim Miles hit 55 unbeaten runs, David Fagan added 53 and Darren Spooner carried his bat for 48.

The men from Ryton Road, Anston, will be disappointed to end the season with defeat to local rivals Kiveton Park, but can take solace in securing second place in the Championship.
