Louth and Horncastle MP welcomes funding for two new minibuses

Victoria Atkins MP has welcomed news that both Linkage Community Trust and Wolds Community Transport gained funding for two community minibuses, thanks to the Department of Transport's '˜Community Transport Minibus Fund' of £25 million.

Ms Atkins said she is ‘delighted’ with the news.

She added: “These minibuses will help Louth and Horncastle’s elderly residents, and those with learning and physical disabilities, lead more independent lives.”

More than 300 local charities and community groups across England are receiving new minibuses from the Department of Transport’s scheme.
