Louth man, 25, banned after he admits drink-driving

Craig Alexander Laurence, 25, of Mawers Yard in Louth, has been disqualified from driving and ordered to pay a £400 fine after he admitted drink-driving.

Laurence had previously pleaded not guilty to having 50 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath in Mawers

Yard on August 29 last year, when he appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on December 15.

However, when he returned to the court on February 26, he admitted that he had 42 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath on that occasion.

Laurence was given a 12 month driving ban, although this can be reduced if he completes a course.

He was also ordered to pay a £400 fine, in addition to £500 in court costs and a £40 victim surcharge.
