Louth man, 71, receives head injuries after collision near Alford
A 71-year-old man from Louth is being treated in hospital for head injuries following a three car vehicle on the A111 between Alford and Bilsby yesterday afternoon (March 6).
As reported yesterday, the collision took place shortly before 4pm and the casualty had to be freed from the wreckage after fire and rescue crews from Alford, Mablethorpe and Skegness were called to the scene.
The 71-year-old man was driving a Nissan Pixo, and the other two drivers - in a Volkswagen Scirocco and an Audi A4 - received minor injuries.
