Louth man charged after alleged incident at Aldi

A Louth man is due to face magistrates next month after being charged with theft, criminal damage, and assault with intent to resist arrest at the Aldi supermarket in the town yesterday afternoon (Wednesday April 6).

James Kevin Bavin, 41, of Swallow Drive, was charged with three counts of assault with intent to resist arrest, one count of criminal damage, and one count of theft.

He has been bailed to appear before Skegness Magistrates on Tuesday May 10.

The incident, which occurred at around 12.50pm yesterday, involved the alleged theft of around £6 worth of confectionery.

A shop window was allegedly damaged during the incident.
