Louth '˜panda robbery' suspects are re-bailed for the third time

Two local men, age 17 and 21, who allegedly dressed up in panda onesies and robbed a Louth newsagents in November last year have been re-bailed for the third time.

As reported previously, the two men were arrested in December after McColl’s in Eastgate was targeted in the incident on November 29.

The men were initially bailed until December 23, which was then extended to February 3.

Their bail was then extended again to March 8, and this has now been extended until ‘late April’ while police enquiries continue.

Neither of the men have yet been charged with any offences in relation to the robbery.
