Louth students inspired by trip to Yorkshire Sculpture Park
The main attraction was a special exhibition by the artist known as KAWS, whose work includes towering cartoon-style sculptures.
The group also looked at the work of well-known British artists such as Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth who were both born in the West Yorkshire area and have had a strong influence on British sculpture.

Hide AdStudents got a sneak preview of the next special exhibition which features work by ‘Not Vital’.
The weather was excellent and all involved had a great time.
Kane Benton commented, “It was very inspiring and enjoyable”, and Yasmin Kirwin added: “The Sculpture Park was amazing. I found out about a lot of new artists and I especially liked the KAWS pieces”.
Archie Ingamells also favoured KAWS work and commented that the park was “very inspirational with colour and extraordinary shapes.”
Cordeaux Academy looks forward to seeing the work produced by the students, following all this inspiration.
