Louth woman banned from driving for three years

Rachel Alexandra Veronica Waddington, 45, of Harewood Crescent in Louth, has been sentenced after she admitted driving while more than twice the drink-drive limit.

Waddington drove in Aswell Street, Louth, on January 15 while she had 75 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.

When Waddington appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on January 16, she was disqualified from driving for three years, although this can be reduced by 36 weeks if she chooses to complete a course.

She was also fined £120, and ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Waddington also admitted driving without the correct insurance policy, but faced no further penalty.
